A Family Tradition of Building and Inspecting Homes
The story of ShaniePro Inspection begins with my grandfather, known to many as “Shanie,” who began building and remodeling homes in Indiana in 1953.
Over decades of work, he built countless homes, additions, and renovations, earning a reputation for craftsmanship, integrity, and treating every customer like family.
His last name, Schanlaub, was often shortened by friends and neighbors to “Shanie,” and the nickname stuck. For much of his career he was known proudly as “Shanie” of Shanie Building and Remodeling. To our family, he was simply Grandpa Shanie.
That tradition of quality workmanship continued with the next generation. My brother and I have spent more than 25 years building and remodeling homes, gaining the kind of hands-on experience that only comes from working on all aspects of home building and repair.
